everyone wants to love and to be loved. the message doesn't really hit you until it hits you. love for me, is an on and off switch. there is no in between. i cant kind of think of it. it's either i think of it to the point to where it takes up so much space in my mind that i am totally unproductive. or, i don't think of it at all and it doesn't exist.
sometimes love hurts to the point where you just don't want to love anymore because you can't stand the emotional pain. this is the point where i say, relationships are stupid, boys are stupid, and the other side where i say, both of them are also like drugs because once youre hooked, it's hard to quit. and if you do quit, its hard to go back to what you once had before because now that you've had it, you have memories of it that linger. the taste, how it made you feel, what you did while you were under the influence. all of that makes it difficult to forget. but as with many things, time does make you forget. and some things just take more time than others to lighten their mark, like an imprint of something, maybe a leaf or even a dinosaur's foot on a piece of rock being eroded by the wind and sand. you may forget pieces of what was there intially as the outlines and edges dull and smooth out, but what was there never completely disappears.
